Born and raised in the middle of Alaska, Peter Foglesong has spent the last decade calling Spokane home. Lucky to be brought up in a creative family, he’s been a life-long geek, a fan of comics, sci-fi/fantasy movies & books, and has been drawing for as long as he can remember.
Fortunately he’s been able to gradually begin a freelance artistic career around other relatively mundane jobs, such as working for a tattoo studio or running a comic book store. So far his professional creative work has mainly been in concept art, illustration, logo design & typography.
But he also still draws for fun! Since he’s first a fan, his preferences influence his choices as well as his style, such as: pop-culture mash-ups, and his favorite comics, movie & video game characters.
He has been a regular exhibitor at the local Lilac City ComiCon since 2010, along with several similar events in and around the Pacific Northwest. Next look for his art at Portland’s Rose City ComiCon in September.
