The South Hill Library is blooming
We’ll be highlighting a different Spokane Public Library branch at the beginning of each month. This month’s focus is the South Hill Library. Check out some of their new developments and fun events.

Liberty Park Florist and Greenhouse recently donated 60 begonias to the South Hill Library. Susan Rudder, South Hill’s Circulation Team Leader, planted each of the beautiful begonias around the library for all to enjoy. A special thank you to the wonderful Liberty Park Florist and Greenhouse for the generous donation.
Be sure to stop by the branch and see these wonderful additions. While you’re there, be sure to pick up a library card or sign up for Summer Reading.
Get to know Susanne Miller at the South Hill Library
I am the Youth Services librarian at the South Hill library. I get to present story times and programs for children and teens. I am excited about getting out in the community to talk to people about the library. At home, I love to read, garden, and take care of sheep, chickens, two cats and a Great Pyrenees.

Classical guitar
Relax and listen to a blend of classical guitar repertoire, Peruvian folklore and original compositions performed by accomplished musician, John Paul Shields at the South Hill Library, Saturday, August 6th at 4pm.
Can’t make it? John Paul Shields will also be playing at the Shadle Library the same day at Noon!

Kids’ concert
Join us for a concert with local musician Jenny Edgren at the South Hill Library, Saturday, August 6th at 10am.
This will be a great opportunity to sing and dance along!
