As a self-taught artist, Trujillo-Malmo finds inspiration in all things. She specializes in acrylic paint and strives to paint powerful and vibrant creations through various techniques. Acrylic pouring is her preferred technique as the results are unpredictable and impossible to duplicate this allowing her to be more flexible.
Although she discovered her passion for acrylic painting late in life, she comes from a family of artists. her upbringing was influenced by carpentry, painting, sculpting, poetry and music.
