Benka was born and raised in Spokane. She got her first camera at 8 years old and from then on she knew what she wanted to do. She moved to Seattle in her early 20s then started photographing weddings and loved it. Benka is a mom of a beautiful 25 year old boy and she recently moved back to Spokane to be closer to family.
Benka has photographed weddings for about 5 years. For the last 20, she has been doing a lot of landscape photography. She traveled to Ireland, France, Greece, Italy, Canada and Mexico. She also spent 3 weeks trekking in Nepal on her way to Mt. Everest.
